I enjoy finding beauty in the ordinary, run-down, overlooked, forgotten images we may pass by everyday and take for granted. In my paintings, I strive for realism. I want you to feel the heat of the midday sun, smell the sea air, and hear the cries of the gulls overhead. If my art makes you want to reach for your sunglasses and pull up a lawn chair (margarita optional), I've done my job. You may even start to wonder where beauty lurks in your own forgotten corner of the world. Just look closer, you'll find it there.
Latest: A print of "Food Trucks" will soon be part of the permanent collection at Moody Methodist Church, Galveston, TX.
